Testicular Cancer

Testicular cancer is rare but potentially fatal form of cancer.  Three out of a thousand men in the United States will be diagnosed with testicular cancer at some point in their lives.

Symptoms of testicular cancer include

  • A growth involving the testicle
  • Testicular enlargement
  • Pain in the testicle
  • Back pain
  • Unexpected weight loss

Treatment for testicular cancer can include

  • Radical Orchiectomy (removal of the affected testicle)
  • Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection (removal of the lymph nodes draining the testicle)
  • Chemotherapy
  • Radiation
