Dr DeLaurentis

Urologist

Dino DeLaurentis, DO, FACOS


Dr. DeLaurentis is a Board Certified Urologist and Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Michigan State University in 1994, his Medical Degree at Midwestern University in 1995 and completed his Urology Residency at world-renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois in 2005. Dr. Dino practices comprehensive general urology of adult men and women. Dr. DeLaurentis has also been recognized as a Greenlight Center of Excellence by Boston Scientific.

Dr. DeLaurentis was born and raised in suburban Chicago, Illinois. He has been living in Clarksville Tennessee since 2010 with his spouse, Nikkalynn who is also a physician in the community and is double board certified in hospice and palliative medicine as well as family medicine. Nikkalynn has roots in the Huntsville, Alabama and Northwest Indiana regions.

Dr. Dino enjoys the outdoors especially golfing, camping/hiking, training his dogs and flying multirotors. He also played ice hockey most of his life and enjoys watching NHL games. “My favorite team is the Chicago Blackhawks, however I do root for the Nashville Predators if they are not competing against each other”.

Dr. Dino enjoys getting to know his patients and providing contemporary, comprehensive and compassionate care using a holistic approach. “I believe in connecting with my patients and evidence-based medicine and feel that patient’s do best when they are well informed about their condition and treatment options. “

Urologist

Vidu Yarlagadda, MD


Dr. Yarlagadda is a board certified general urologist with an interest in robotic urologic and complex endoscopic procedures. He is a native of middle Tennessee and grew up in Nashville. He graduated from University of Alabama where he received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. He then returned home for medical school where he received his MD degree from Meharry Medical College. During this time, he also did 2 years of research in cancer biology. Following this, Dr. Yarlagadda went to University of Alabama Birmingham where he completed his intern year in General Surgery followed by residency in Urology.

Dr Yarlagadda’s wife, Sandhya, is also a Nashville native. They have two sons, whom they are excited to raise in middle Tennessee. In his spare time, Dr Yarlagadda enjoys traveling with his family, working out in the yard, playing the guitar, and playing golf (poorly).

Dr. Yarlagadda’s passion is to provide patient-centered care. During his training, he worked on numerous quality improvement projects that focused on methods to improve the patient experience within the healthcare system. “There are many ways to treat any given issue, and it is only through understanding who a patient is that we can work together to find the best possible treatment.”


Meagen Bender, PA

Physician Assistant

Meagan Bender, PA-C


Meagan Bender is a certified Physician Assistant. She earned a bachelor of science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003 and then went on to earn a master of science degree in Kinesiology from The University of Texas in 2009 and a master of science in physician assistant studies from South University in 2014. After graduating from the Air Force Academy in 2003, Meagan was awarded a pilot training slot that was taken away shortly after graduation due to a problem with kidney stones. Meagan served in the Air Force for 12 years as a NCAA Division I gymnastics coach, exercise physiologist and aerospace physiologist. Her prior experience as an advanced practice provider includes work in both primary care and urology.

Meagan is originally from Aiken, South Carolina and now resides in the Clarksville area with her spouse and two children. Prior to moving to Clarksville, Meagan worked in the urology department at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to providing daily patient care for a wide variety of urological problems, she also facilitated the training of family practice resident physicians and physician assistant students. Meagan enjoys hiking, traveling, family time, brisk walks with the dog, and feeding her chickens. She hopes to travel to Peru and hike Machu Picchu in the near future.

Meagan sincerely enjoys getting to know her patients so that their care can be best individualized to their specific needs. She believes that the patient plays a very integral part in their own care and encourages patients to advocate for themselves and their specific medical needs.



Nurse Practitioner

Lexie Modlin,
FNP


Lexie Modlin is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Nursing at Auburn University in 2016 and then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2021. Over her career, Lexie has worked in several different specialties of nursing such as emergency observation, home health, radiology, pre-op, and recovery room (PACU).  Here at Clarksville Urology, Lexie manages all aspects of urology including enlarged prostate, male/female urinary incontinence, urinary tract infections, kidney stones, men’s health, and urologic cancers.

Lexie believes in a holistic approach to patient care, focusing on prevention, education, and empowering her patients to take an active role in their own well-being. She is an advocate for men’s health focusing on sensitive topics such as low testosterone and erectile dysfunction. She strives to create a safe and non-judgmental environment, where open communication is encouraged, ensuring her patients receive the best possible care.

Outside of her practice, Lexie actively participates in community mentoring with Big Brother Big Sister. She loves to garden,  play with her three dogs, fish, hunt and watch Auburn football.
